Fernando Huanacuni, Aymara indigenous leader of Bolivia said in 2010:

“We are in times of pachakuti, the time of rearrangement of life, with the revitalization of natural forces in front of the Western thought and unnatural behavior.

Well Living is to live in harmony with the cycles of life, knowing that everything is interconnected, interrelated and interdependent, well living is knowing that the deterioration of one specie is the deterioration of the whole.

The thoughts and wisdom of our grandfathers and grandmothers before us clearly give the horizon of our journey.

The indigenous movement originating in the horizon of well living, not only seeks to trace the political, social, legal or economic power: essentially seeks to reconstruct the life, rediscover ourselves.

We are pachamama (Mother Earth)

We are sons of earth mother, we are sons of the universe, therefore there is no human-nature dichotomy, we are nature, we are pachamama, we are pachacamac, we are life. Therefore, we are also responsible as life farmers.

In these new emerging conditions, to reconstitute our identity is to return to basic and conventional principles, not-human, but of life, of nature. Returning to our wisdom, our ancestors, the sacred path”

Dec 21st 2012

Do NOT be afraid

  1. No-one has good cause to believe that the world will end on this date. It is the end of a 26000 year cycle and the beginning of a new cycle.
  2. If you wish to see the sunrise at Stonehenge, the sun will be risen at approximately 8:04am on Friday 21st December.
  3. There will be free access to Stonehenge for a limited time in the morning as soon as English Heritage Health and Safety team deem it light enough, probably from 7am.
  4. No-one at the round table planning meeting listened to our grove when we advised that more people than usual might wish to come, given the special date, so parking is likely to be limited and vehicles arriving late could be turned away.
  5. It will probably rain. We recommend warm clothes, boots and an umbrella.

A message from the Druids of Aes Dana Grove:

It is especially important at this time that in our thoughts and prayers we let Mother Earth know that we love and appreciate her.

We are all sick from the worst excesses of humanity, and frankly so is she.

It matters that now we change. We must live up to our positive potential. Our actions must be intentioned towards goodness respect and harmony.

Wishing you all

A Merry Solstice and a happy, harmonious 2013
