Amesbury Carnival 2011

The people of Amesbury granted a historic honour to the Aes Dana Druids by asking us to lead their annual carnival through the streets before opening the event in the main arena.

Aes Dana make a point of working within our wider communities and on days such as this we can envisage a future whereby the Druids of tomorrow are as accepted within society as Christians and others. It is happening.

We would like to thank the Mayor, Andy, the Amesbury Councillors and Carnival Committee, the 30 Children of nature who supported us, and the people of historic Amesbury for welcoming the Stonehenge Druids back into the community.
