Kate and I went to Bolivia to meet the Amauta people on behalf of the Druid tradition and the Stonehenge Druids. We hoped to learn what our cultures might share in common. We were received with warmth hospitality and love by a great people who invited us into their homes, their community, their sacred celebrations, their most sacred places and into their hearts.
At Tiwanaku on Solstice eve we were given a special tour of the temple, and held ceremony there in the temple of the underworld / ancestors. On solstice day we were placed front row with ambassadors from around the world, and after the ceremony, were introduced to the countries president.
We left Bolivia with heavy hearts for we have left behind new friends, brothers and sisters, spirit family. In Bolivia the land sings and the people sing back to her. All is well. Now the work begins to apply all that we have learned on this journey for the greater good of our people, all people and for Mother Earth. This is a beginning.
