It would be a good idea to check that you have this with you.

Alternatively you could take the train to Salisbury and hop on to one of the special solstice buses.

Stonehenge Open Managed Access

Pagans regard Stonehenge as a sacred place to which we have a natural and ancient right to visit for the purposes of worship. The authorities only allow open access four times a year, and whilst understanding and tolerance has improved year on year there are always those who would speak out to end this if we give them an excuse to do so.

It is not a festival although it sometimes has a festival like feel, please remember that we are here to honour the work of creation and rejoice at the blessings we receive through nature as the season of summer truly begins.

People of all backgrounds are welcome, but children should be accompanied by an adult.

Due to alcohol abuse by a small minority in recent years spoiling it for others, it is this year an alcohol free event.

We ask you to please keep it a drug and litter free event also.

By behaving in a respectful way towards Stonehenge and towards each other we ensure that this wonderful and unique event can continue for generations to follow.
