SPRING - WEEK 1
Many visitors to this website are from other countries, and some at home live in Cities and will not be so aware of the gentle beauty awakening now in the British countryside, hedgerows and woodlands. The Photo’s below show some pictures taken in my native Hampshire downs this afternoon (22nd March).
The very first delicate blooms of an English spring:
Below, with much excitement, the very first bluebell. In a few weeks time our woodlands will be carpeted in a blue/violet sea of these flowers, the birds will sing their hearts out and sunlight will stream in golden shafts down through a fresh green canopy. It is just ‘Magic’.
